The Fifth Turner Memorial Lecture of the Scientific Instrument Society will be held at the The In & Out Club in London. The lecture will be given by Dr. Silke Ackermann on the topic, In the Service of Religion? 'Science in the Islamic World' in the Museum.

A conference on The History of Women in Engineering in the UK will be held at IET Savoy Place in London. This event aims to explore the longer history of women in engineering and to better understand the diverse roles of women in British engineering in nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

The Seminar on Epistemology and History of Mathematical Ideas will meet at the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris. The speaker will be Michel Henry on the topic Aux origines de la loi des grands nombres, l’apport historique de Jacques Bernoulli.
