The 2017 International Meeting of collectors and researchers of slide rules and other historic computing instruments (IM2017) will be held at the Arithmeum at the University of Bonn, Germany. The theme of the meeting will be "Calculating in Everyday Life."

The Fourth International Conference on the History and Philosophy of Computing will be held in Brno, Czech Republic. The conference will be preceded on October 3 by a special workshop on the reception of Hilbert's axomatic method in Eastern Europe.

The On Growth and Form Centenary Conference will be held at the University of Dundee and the University of St Andrews, in celebration of the work of D'Arcy Thompson, including his pioneering work in biomathematics. The meeting will include the first BSHM Fauvel Lecture by Evelyn Fox Keller on the topic, Mathematics in Biology - Has D'Arcy Thompson been vindicated?

The event Mathematical Constants and Their Beautiful Relationship will be held at the Museum of London. Speakers will include John Barrow on Zero is a Hero, Raymond Flood on Just Imagine! The Tale of i, and Professor Robin Wilson on π and e, and `the most beautiful theorem in mathematics.'

The ARITHMOS seminar will meet at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury, Connecticut. This seminar will read additional selections from Newton's The Method of Fluxions and Infinite Series (using the 1736 English translation by John Colson).
